About us
Hello! We’re Filip and Myriam, two people from Belgium who grew up in the picturesque region of Western Flanders. Filip was trained to be a butcher/caterer, but found a job replacing windscreens. After a while he could no longer resist the temptation to develop his professional cooking skills. After having enjoyed 32 years as a kindergarten teacher, Myriam also looked for a new challenge and a life in a beautiful, sun-kissed environment. After we enjoyed several fantastic holidays to Andalusia, we decided to follow our heart. The Bed and Breakfast La Vida Tranquila gives us the warmth and peace we hoped for. An experience we’d like to share with you!

Location & view
Bed and Breakfast La Vida Tranquila is located in the beautiful hills of South Andalusia, where the mountains meet the sea. The perfect combination! The beautiful beaches with the clear blue water of the Mediterranean Sea are only 6 km away. The popular seaside resort Torre Del Mar is not more than a 12 km drive.
Airport travel
The closest airport is Málaga. The trip by car from the airport to the Bed and Breakfast takes only 35 minutes. You can rent your favourite car at the airport. The staff is able to serve you in several languages. Do you prefer using our taxi service? We will pick you up at the airport. (€50 per transfer)

Every cosy room comes with a private bathroom and a separate terrace where you can enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee without being disturbed.

A colourful and tasty breakfast will await you every morning. Choose your favourite spot in our breakfast area, whether that’s our big table or outside.

The outside kitchen has a fridge where you can always take a drink to cool down from the hot sun. Fancy a snack? Tell us and we’ll prepare tropical drinks with Spanish tapas. Stay in your holiday mood while we take care of everything!
Swimming pool & recreation
Take a refreshing dip into the big swimming pool. Relax in your deck chair beneath a parasol (our books are dying to be read...) and take a refreshing swim in the cool water. Towels are ready nearby! Ready for some action after the peace and quiet of the surrounding mountains, the sea and the olive orchard? Get fit on the tennis court, go chatting the Mediterranean way over a game of petanque, or play a cool board game.
